  1. Thanks for the shout-out on the BioScience natural history paper! In the interests of accuracy, though, I wasn’t the senior author. Josh Tewksbury was first author and the paper was a true collaborative effort by 17 excellent colleagues.

  2. The Kang piece on #cancelcolbert was really interesting. It’s funny, when I think of Twitter activism, I think of people who are offline activists using Twitter to coordinate, network, and follow the news about a particular thing that’s going on (for a while, I was watching #NATO3 every day so that I could see the news coming from reporters and others who were in Chicago). In other words, they’re using Twitter as a tool to spread information and awareness about things happening offline. The sort of Twitter activism that Park is engaging in is using Twitter as not only the tool but the whole platform of the activism.

  3. thanks for the pseudoscorpion stories, i miss those guys. and honeybee stings on scrotums? just… wow… i remember a kid coming into our room in college asking: guys, what’s the word for when you get a paper cut on your eyeball? just thinking about it….
